How Will COVID-19 affect London Fashion Week?
London Fashion Week is one of the few international events to still be going ahead in London this year, for the shows to commence changes have been made. To condense the event womenswear and menswear have been combined into a gender-neutral show, with all shows adhering to Government guidelines on social distancing to keep everyone safe. The impact of COVID-19 hasn’t all been negative, the London Fashion Week digital platform was set up in June so the public can watch shows and designers can present exclusive multimedia content, this is extremely positive news as it enables collaborations and brings together fashion, culture and technology!
When Will London Fashion Week September 2020 Take Place?
The British Fashion Council announced London Fashion Week September 2020 will take place on Thursday 17th September to Tuesday 22nd September. Due to COVID-19 the gender-neutral show will be split into three sections with designers showing digitally, physically, and both.
